Why don't you provide a "basic food hygiene course"
The "basic food hygiene" or "foundation" courses have been discontinued
following a change in the course structure recommended by the CIEH. All food handlers
must now undertake a Level 2 course that is appropriate to the sector they work
in. Our
Catering, Manufacturing
and
Retail courses are designed to meet that new recommendation.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes, if you have more than 5 courses in your basket at the checkout screen you
will automatically be given the option to pay by invoice.
To pay by invoice for less than 5 courses, please Contact Us.
How does online Food Hygiene Training work?
When you purchase the course you will be given login details to our Learning Management
System. These details will never expire so you can start whenever you like and proceed
through the course at your own pace. When you have completed the training you will
be able to take the online exam. The pass mark for the food hygiene exam is 70%,
you may attempt the exam as many times as you wish.
When will I receive my Food Hygiene Certificate?
Your certificate will be posted within 1 working day of completing the course.
Can I print my own certificate?
Our certificates are of higher quality than the standard a home printer can produce,
as such we do offer a home printing option that allows you to print a temporary
certificate but we still send you a high quality certificate through the post.
Does this training satisfy the law?
Yes - e-learning is an established way of meeting the legal requirement.
See our
food law page for more information.
